Welcome from Head of Sixth Form
We are proud of our sixth form and our dedicated team fully encourage you to celebrate your successes and achievements; to further your journey to a fulfilling and exciting independent future.
For the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Assistant Principal at Ormiston Victory Academy, leading on GCSE outcomes and supporting students as they take some of the most important steps in their education. One of the things I’m most proud of is the consistent improvement in the grades and progress achieved by students at both Victory and Lord Nelson Sixth Form. Our sixth form continues to grow in strength, ambition, and opportunity every year.
My role allows me to oversee academic achievement from Year 10 through to Year 13, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see students build on their GCSE success as they move into the next stage of their journey. For those of you already studying with us, I’m excited to continue working with you as you take on new courses and challenges. For students joining us from other schools, I’m delighted to welcome you into a community that is supportive, aspirational and committed to helping you achieve your very best.
Our expectation is simple: that every student works hard, engages fully and makes the most of the high‑quality teaching, intervention and personalised support available at LNSF. When students bring their effort and determination and families work with us in partnership, the outcomes can be exceptional.
I look forward to supporting our new Year 12 cohort throughout their time with us and helping each of you fulfil your potential.
