This route is compulsory for mentoring trainees or ECTs (Early Career Teachers) for the first time. Mentors will take part in sessions aimed at developing their skills in supporting their mentees. The sessions will cover all key aspects of the mentoring process as can be seen below. Along with these, there will also be regular catch ups. Mentors will be split into two cohorts, with one focused on working with trainees and the other focused on working with ECTs (Early Career Teachers).
